Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser is the author of the debut memoir, Some Kinda Good: Good Food and Good Company, That’s What It's All About. A culinary TV personality and food writer, she is the longtime Statesboro Herald food columnist. She also competed as a Season 14 finalist on “Food Network Star,” and a Season 2 contestant on the ABC cooking competition, “The Taste.”
Lingenfelser earned her Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from Georgia Southern University. In addition, she attended Savannah Technical College’s Culinary Institute of Savannah. An advocate for supporting local, Lingenfelser values cooking with in-season ingredients, indigenous to the Southern seacoast. She’s a firm believer that food tastes best at its peak and takes pride in showcasing Georgia-grown food. On her Southern, coastal food blog, SomeKindaGood.com, Lingenfelser shares cooking and entertaining tips, and easy-to-execute, flavorful recipes to encourage others to gather around the family table and share in the joy of cooking and eating together.
When she’s not in the kitchen, you can find her working full-time as the Director of Communications for a downtown Savannah marketing firm, singing, reading or boating along the intracoastal waterways of Southeast Georgia.
