ABOUT

Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser is the author of Unique Eats and Eateries of Savannah, and the best-selling memoir, Some Kinda Good, Good Food and Good Company, That’s What It’s All About! A culinary TV personality, food writer, and five-star private chef, she is the longtime Statesboro Herald food columnist, and a food contributor for Discovering Bulloch, Southern Soil and Effingham Living magazines. In 2018, she was a top 10 finalist on Season 14 of “Food Network Star,” and appeared on Season 2 of the ABC cooking competition, “The Taste,” with Anthony Bourdain.

In addition, Rebekah’s professional career and day job spans 18 years in the marketing and public relations industry, where she has held executive leadership positions in health care and higher education.

 

Featured on Paula Deen's Love & Best Dishes YouTube channel, in Forbes, and on The VeryVera Show, Rebekah appears regularly on WTOC's Morning Break in Savannah. 

 

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from Georgia Southern University and is an honors graduate of the Culinary Institute of Savannah. On her Southern, coastal food blog, SomeKindaGood.com, Rebekah shares cooking and entertaining tips, and easy-to-execute, flavorful recipes to encourage others to gather around the family table and share in the joy of cooking and eating together.
