Kitchen Assistant

Some Kinda Good, LLC, the Southern and coastal-inspired lifestyle brand founded by Food Network Star finalist, five-star private chef, and bestselling author Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser, is seeking a motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join her team for exclusive private events.
 

This is an ideal role for someone looking to earn extra income while gaining experience in the high-end private culinary world and helping to create lifestyle content for a growing brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Logistics: Efficiently manage "load in" and "load out" of culinary equipment and ingredients at event locations.

  • Sanitation & Organization: Oversee dishwashing and maintain a spotless, organized workspace throughout the event.

  • Guest Services: Provide professional table service, including serving courses and clearing plates with a high standard of Southern hospitality.

  • Content Assistance: Support brand growth by capturing high-quality behind-the-scenes photos and videos for social media.

Requirements

  • Availability: Most events occur on Saturday evenings, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking supplemental income.

  • Experience: Previous food and beverage or restaurant experience is ideal but not required for the right candidate with a strong work ethic.

  • Professional Appearance: A polished, conservative presentation is mandatory.

    • Uniform: Solid black collared shirt, black pants, and a black apron.

    • Grooming: Hair and nails must be neat and well-kept.

    • Policy: No visible piercings.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of an event.

  • Reliability: Dependable transportation to event locations and a strict commitment to punctuality.

  • Social Media Savvy: Comfort using a smartphone to capture aesthetic, stable content of food and event atmosphere.

Position Details

  • Type: Part-time / Per-event basis.

  • Location: Primarily Savannah and surrounding coastal areas.

  • Compensation: Competitive per-event fee based on experience.
