🍕 Barbecue Chicken Pizza 🍕

Homemade pizza is one of my favorite things to make at home, and with a few shortcuts like rotisserie chicken and a store-bought pizza crust, the flavor combos are endless!

This beauty has caramelized onions + garlic, roasted red peppers, and 2 cheeses: sharp cheddar and fresh mozzarella. Fresh towering basil from my backyard garden to top it off. 👍🍕😋🤌

It is rare to have an experience worth going out and getting ready for anymore, but last night, our efforts were not in vain, thanks to the fine food, inspired cocktails and excellent service we experienced at @thefitzroysav!!

🐳 Nantucket Part: 4 🐳

Sailing with @endeavorsailing was a highlight - if there's a boat nearby, we're on it! ⛵️

Dinner at @galleybeach while sipping on my first Aperol Spritz and watching the sunset was magical, BUT I could've done without the explicit art on the menus and coasters (at least the coasters were double-sided). 🤣 Also, the fireplaces didn't work in the lounge areas on the beach, so that was a real bummer. 👎

The drive out to Madaket for tacos at @milliesnantucket was worth the hype! Lobster quesadilla + margaritas? Yes, please! 🙋‍♀️ Also, the summer rice salad with chickpeas and mint was out of this world, and the queso is the best I've ever had. 😍 We sat on Madaket beach for hours and watched the seals play, feeling the last of the Massachusetts sunshine. ☀️

@brotherhoodnantucket might have been the coolest, laid back bar in all of Nantucket - reminded me of the old Kevin Barry's on River Street in Savannah with its underground, exposed brick vibes and friendly bartenders. Definetly a favorite find! 🍻

On our last day, it was rainy and foggy in true New England style, and I spent every last minute I had shopping and soaking it all up before boarding the @hylinecruises ferry back to the mainland. Bought some beautiful art and souvenirs. ❤️

We are having a Some Kinda Good summer over here! 😋 I am loving my garden harvest and have made some delicious dishes with my homegrown tomatoes, fresh herbs and peppers. Also, inspired by our travels to New England, here's a sample of what's been cookin' - I hope it inspires you to plant your own garden, so you can create your own farm-to-table goodness at home. ❤️

1) Garden Harvest of Cherry, Roma and Better Boy Tomatoes + Banana and Jalapeno Peppers 🍅

2) Homemade Pizza with Garden Fresh Tomato Sauce, Roasted Red Peppers, Pepperoni, and Homegrown Roma Tomatoes, Fresh Basil 🍕

3) Charred Summer Corn, Tomato & Avocado Salad with Grilled Chicken, Brown Rice, Marinated Mozzarella 🌽

4) Chili-Lime Avocado Nachos with garden fresh tomatoes and jalapenos 🥑

5) Spaghetti with Homemade Tomato Sauce and fresh Tomatoes, Basil 🍝

6) Thinly Sliced Fried Zucchini Chips with Lemon + Kosher Salt 🍋
