Cinnamon-Sugar Pecan Twists

Cinnamon-Sugar Pecan Twists are a sweet treat and an easy, 5-ingredient recipe to bake when you need something semi-homemade in a pinch. One 8 oz. can of crescent rolls will make about 20 twists, but don’t count on there being any leftovers! I made a batch this weekend, and packaged them up to give to my neighbors, along with a Christmas card. Food gifts make the best gifts. When you take the time to make something homemade, in my experience, folks are always appreciative. Enjoy!

Packaged in a festive Christmas tin and wrapped in tissue paper, Cinnamon-Sugar Pecan Twists will delight friends and neighbors.

Some Kinda Good Cinnamon-Sugar Pecan Twists Ingredients

  1. 8 oz can crescent rolls

  2. Cinnamon Sugar:

  3. 2 tablespoons of sugar

  4. 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  5. 1/2 cup chopped pecans

  6. Butter, melted

Heat oven to 375°F. In small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Unroll dough; separate into 4 rectangles. Press each to 6×4-inch rectangle, pressing perforations to seal. Brush tops of rectangles with melted butter; sprinkle with about half of the sugar mixture. Top each with remaining rectangle; press edges lightly. Brush tops with melted butter. With sharp knife, cut each rectangle stack lengthwise into 6 strips. Twist each strip 3 times; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Brush tops with any remaining melted butter; sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture.
